Payments
Thank you for making/attempting to make a payment for article processing charges due to the South African Journal of Animal Science. Manuscripts will not be edited or published until the publication fee has been paid. For enquiries related to your manuscript and/or payment, please contact: admin@sajas.co.za. Thank you.

Making a payment
1. Upon acceptance for publication, the main and/or corresponding author will receive an invoice with payment details.
2. Verify the amount on the invoice issued. Use the invoice number as reference for your payment.
Publication fees per article accepted for publication are as follows:
| Non-SADC international authors (SASAS non-members) | USD 750 for a 10-page manuscript + USD 75 per additional page |
| Non-SADC international authors (SASAS members) | USD 600 for a 10-page manuscript + USD 60 per additional page |
| SADC authors (SASAS non-members) | ZAR 10,000 for a 10-page manuscript + ZAR 1,000 per extra page |
| SADC authors (SASAS members) | ZAR 8,000 for a 10-page manuscript + ZAR 800 per extra page (where the senior or corresponding author on the manuscript is a SASAS member) |
3. The payment can be made in one of two ways:
Option 1: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Please use the bank details provided on the invoice and use the invoice number as your reference. Please email the proof of payment (POP) to: secretary@sasas.co.za
OR
Option 2: PayFast
Enter the amount on the invoice in the area provided, and click on the Pay Now button. Use the invoice number as reference. Please pay in ZAR.
